KD Studios began printing fine art photography in 2002 when Ray Carofano came to us with a need for large reproductions of a series of silver gelatin prints he had produced of local San Pedro characters called “Faces of San Pedro”. Armed with the new Epson 9600 large format archival ink jet printer we went to work learning the craft of archival fine art printing. 8 years later we are still making prints for Ray and others as well as expanding the printing services to include making very interesting window treatments, custom wallpaper, printing on silk and other fabrics and working with Ron Linden promoting local art venues.
KD Studios uses a 1000 square foot space which houses an array of Epson archival printers, scanners capable of 48 bit scanning, commercial photography services, matt cutting and framing.
